Frequently Asked Questions

How will you ensure my order is frozen?

Orders are frozen down to -40C and sent in temperature controlled, recyclable and compostable packaging with reusable ice packs. By the time you receive your order, it should arrive at 18C, ready to pop in your freezer.

Will I get an order confirmation?

Yes, this will be emailed to you after you have processed your payment.

Is your food cooked in a factory?

No, all our meals are lovingly handmade in our kitchen by our talented team of chefs.

Can you microwave your meals?

You are able to microwave all single meals and sides, however not the double meals or À la carte options as these are in aluminium trays which cannot be put in microwaves. We recommended cooking in the oven for best results.

Do you source all your food from the UK?

Anything that we can source from the UK we will, we care about the environment so want to be as kind to it as we can be.

Yes our chickens all come from free range farms around London, where they can roam free, fed natural foods and not being pumped full of growth hormones or antibiotics.

All of our fish is sourced through James Knight of Mayfair from British waters. However our prawns are sustainably sourced from abroad.

Such delicious nourishing food

So nice to have balanced, high quality meals ready to go in the freezer after a long day at work. And love how sustainable everything is. We’ll be ordering again soon.

Highly recommended!

Beautiful, restaurant quality food

We've had a number of different meals from POW, and they're all super tasty and delicious without being too salty, which is a revelation. Even our 7 year old likes them, which given that they're probably aimed at a more complex adult palate (and that she's pretty fussy) is amazing in itself.

Couldn’t believe that it was a frozen meal

Can’t sing it’s praises enough! Everything arrived on time and in perfect condition and removed all the stress I usually have with preparing the food! All my friends have an opinion on food and couldn’t believe that it was a frozen meal

The best I’ve ever tried in a ready meal

It doesn’t taste like a ready meal at all, it actually tastes like healthy, real food. I also prefer the fact it comes frozen so I have more control over when I eat each meal without having to throw anything away.
