Celebrating B Corp Month: Our Commitment to Better Food at Home 🌱

This B Corp Month, we’re celebrating our second year as a certified B Corp—a milestone that means so much more than just a title. Being a B Corp is about accountability, sustainability, and a commitment to doing better for people and the planet.

For us at Pow Food At Home, it’s not just about creating delicious, nourishing meals—it’s about ensuring that every step, from sourcing to packaging, aligns with our core values of health, social impact, and sustainability.

Our co founder and head of sustainability Emily has listed out below how we are making a difference:

Ethically Sourced Ingredients
Great food starts with great ingredients. We carefully select suppliers who share our values, sourcing:

  • Seasonal vegetables from Natoora, ensuring quality and freshness
  • British-grown organic grains from Sussex Wholefoods
  • Free-range poultry from Sutton Hoo Chicken, supporting ethical farming practices

Fighting Food Waste
We’re committed to minimising food waste in our kitchens. Partnering with Refood UK, we convert inedible food waste into renewable energy and compost, while actively implementing zero-waste solutions in our production process.

Carbon Footprint Accountability
With My Emissions, we track and reduce the carbon impact of our recipes, offsetting emissions as part of our sustainability journey. This helps us create lower-emission meals while staying accountable for our environmental impact.

Transparency You Can Trust
We believe in giving our customers all the information they need to make informed choices. That’s why every meal we create comes with clear nutritional and carbon footprint data, so you can feel good about what’s on your plate.

Meal for a Meal Initiative
Since day one, we’ve partnered with City Harvest London to ensure that for every meal you enjoy, another is provided to a child in need. It’s a simple way to turn every purchase into a positive impact.

Eco-Friendly Packaging
Sustainable packaging is one of the biggest challenges in food delivery, but it’s one we’re dedicated to tackling. We use:

  • Recyclable trays and toxin-free printed materials
  • Puffin Packaging’s recycled denim liners to keep meals fresh in an eco-friendly way

We believe that small, conscious choices add up to meaningful change. By choosing Pow Food At Home, you’re not just choosing nutritious meals—you’re supporting a more sustainable, ethical, and socially responsible way of eating.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us! 💚
